MORE OUTFITS
Here are a few outfits which did not make it onto the previous DRESSES blog post. They can all be seen at our Etsy shop.
THE DANISH DIRNDL DRESS:
| SOLD! Here is a comment from the buyer: " I wanted to thank you for shipping the dress during that horrible snow storm! It arrived just in time and it is really adorable. My daughter was proud to wear it on her school heritage day. Thanks!" |
Above is the O-O-O! That is to say....the Oriental Owl Outfit. I loved making this one with its bamboo-like sleeves, and cross over smock top. Laura-Lise had fun modelling this pant and blouse set! The brown pants go with the outfit.
Last, but not least, here is the ROMANIAN RHAPSODY outfit! This skirt and blouse set is of white cotton and coral-colored crepe fabric with embossed white flowers.
At each gathered tier of the skirt lies a pearly and lacy trim, while the raglan sleeves hold an inset of coral fabric topped with lace. Delicate machine embroidery runs across the sleeves and down the front of the blouse. Little girls love to twirl and this skirt allows amply for such fun, measuring 118 inches in circumference!
The popular style of this peasant blouse brought in another order for me, this time in a ladies' size XL! I duplicated the blouse, using the same fabrics, embroidery, and lace for the recipient ... a lady in Bavaria!
