FALLING APART AT THE SEAMS?
Not really....Actually, it is quite the opposite! I am quite busy sewing skirts for my sisters this week! A red plaid one, 40's-style for Jessie; a corduroy one for Elodie with bright red cherries on black; a pretty tiered blue one for Marjolaine....and more to come! They would be doing this themselves, but I am needing to either make up patterns or adapt ones we already have, and we are pressed for time. I really love to do this! Sometimes seasons get away from us before we use the fabric designated for that time, but this year the fall/winter skirts are happening!
Skirts are easy way to really get into sewing if you are a beginner! Little girls in our house have always loved the simple ones made as you would make a doll's skirt.
